Welcome to Jefferson Elementary, home of the Eagles!  My name is Amy Salinas and I have the honor of serving as principal at Jefferson. 

We are a Kids at Hope school that believes all children are capable of success - NO EXCEPTIONS!  Our staff is committed to find all the talents, skills, and intelligence in each of our students.  Our mission is to create a safe and welcoming environment where every student is valued, recognized, and supported as they reach their full potential and achieve success.  Our staff is devoted to our students’ social-emotional and academic growth.  We are committed to providing high academic standards while developing each student's critical thinking skills that are needed to be successful.  

At Jefferson, parents are valuable partners and we encourage our parents to visit our school, collaborate with our staff and participate on all the great activities that we have planned this school year. Building relationships with our families is essential and our staff strives to connect and maintain relationships in order to help our students increase their overall success. We value and appreciate our students, staff and families!
