Counseling & Mental Health

I received my Masters of Education in School Counseling from Heritage University in 2010 and have worked as a school counselor at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in both Oregon and Washington. I truly believe I have the best job in the world because I get to connect with, encourage, and teach future world-changers! One of my favorite things to teach students is the power of the brain/body connection and how our thoughts influence our feelings and actions. I love to incorporate movement and imagination into my work any chance I get. When I’m not at Jefferson with my students you can find me taking long walks and hikes with my dog, camping and boating with my husband and four kids, and generally just chasing the sun and seeking adventure in all of the beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
